To
all bands, and people interested in using Bally Studios
You
may have heard that the Victoria Line will
be closing at 10pm on Monday - Thursday. For any bands that are
looking to book a session on any of these days that will end past 10pm,
please note that there is a replacement bus service that is being provided
by London Underground that runs to the following tube stations
Walthamstow
Central --- Blackhorse Road --- Tottenham
Hale ---
Seven Sisters --- Manor House --- Finsbury Park
in
both directions. This means that any bands can catch a bus from
Tottenham Hale station, based 5 mins from Bally Studios, and then get the
replacement bus service to Manor House, which is only about 7-10 mins on
the replacement bus service, and then from there get off and get the Piccadilly
Line, on which services are running as normal. This will not add
that much to your journey, maybe about 10-15 mins, as the replacement bus
services seems to be very regular, and as they only stop at these stops
and not at normal bus stops, as well as the roads being considerably less
busy than usual due to the it being past 10pm.
Many
bands do not realise that the replacement bus service is in use due to
Transport For London not advertising it much, but we can re-assure
you there are replacement bus services. And, hand on heart, we can
honestly say that the bands that we have spoke to about the bus service
have reassured us that is has had lass of an impact on their journey than
they thought it would.
Also,
the National Express Train services remain unaffected by the Victoria line
works. Train times are as follows
Trains
to Liverpool
Street: (from
20:00): 20:04, 20:16, 20:20, 20:29, 20:32, 20:44, 20:48, 20:59, 21:03,

So
if you live in Central, South or West London, the National Express trains

continue your journey from there.
