Bally Studio's Best Albums Of 2014
We hope that everyone has had a fantastic Christmas period and a great 2014, and we wish you all the best for 2015. Seeing as we managed to listen to so many albums that were released in 2014 (287 different albumsat least 5 times) here is our 4th 'Annual end of year list' of our favourite 40 albums of the year. Same rules as always, we need to listen to them 5 times as least, no bumping of Bally-bands, and we can obviously only consider the ones that we actually heard. If anyone wants to recommend any to us that we have left out, feel free to do it below. It says a lot that in 2014 Bruce Springsteen, Manic Street Preachers, Interpol, Eels, Blonde Redhead, Gruff Rhys, Pink Floyd, Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, Parquet Courts, Robert Plant and Band Of Skulls all released albums that were great, but, (in our opinion) there were 40 albums that were better than them.
